Vintage 1976 Walt Disney Productions Mickey Mouse Chatter Chum talking toy manufactured by Mattel in Hong Kong.

Pull the ring on Mickey’s back and he speaks. The pull string retracts and the talking mechanism works, although the words sound somewhat unclear due to the toy’s age. No batteries are required.

Made of hard molded plastic with Mickey wearing a red shirt, green shorts and black shoes. The back is marked “© Mattel Inc. 1976 Hong Kong,” and one ear is marked “© Walt Disney Productions.”

This well-loved vintage toy has noticeable age and play wear, including paint loss and rubs around the ears, nose, head, clothing and shoes. The pull cord shows age and fraying but remains attached and operational. Please review all photographs closely for the complete cosmetic condition.
