Nürnberg. Partie an der Insel Schütt (No. 7003): Features a prominent view of the Nuremberg Great Synagogue (Hauptsynagoge am Hans-Sachs-Platz) looming over the riverbank. Designed in Moorish Revival style, this iconic architectural landmark was forcibly demolished by the Nazi regime in August 1938, months before Kristallnacht.
