ANTIQUE pair of Japanese porcelain bisque mandarin male and female nodders sitting in the lotus position by ARDALT in the style of 18th Century Meissen. circa 1930.Male juggler (6492A) and female drummer (6492B) Hand painted. The female has pink markings, and the male has some purple markings--both have gold gilding. Each measures about 7" high and 7" wide Both are in EXCELLENT MINT condition with no chips, cracks or flaws noted with the only apparent exception being that the original pin holding the juggler's right arm is missing. I have replaced it with a long, thin nail. The nodding mechanisms work perfectly.
