Lysimachus was a companion and bodyguard of Alexander. He struck this coin after the death of Alexander in 323 BC. He was the strongest of Alexander’s successors. In 281 BC, Lysimachus died in battle at the age of 89!
Alexander was King of Macedonia and most of the known world from 336-323 B.C. He was the greatest military strategist in the ancient world. A great accomplishment since he died at the age of 33. Alexander was also well educated, having Aristotle as one of his teachers.
The pendant has been engraved so the Front and Back are Centered up. You may wear the pendant with either side showing.
