Storefront: Historical Grounds
Dug By: Penny da hardway
Item Overview:
Up for sale is an incredibly rare, museum-worthy piece of early American prehistory. This is a genuine, ancient Native American incised stone tablet featuring deeply engraved, sharp geometric channels that form distinct symbolic and anthropomorphic figures across the face of the stone.
Guaranteed Human Workmanship vs. Natural Erosion:
This artifact provides clear, undeniable visual proof of human modification that cannot be mistaken for natural weathering or geological cracks:
• Controlled V-Shaped Incisions: The grooves maintain a deliberate, uniform depth and cut directly against the natural mineral grain of the stone—a physical impossibility for standard root or water erosion.
• Intentional Geometry: The lines form highly structured, non-random figures, including a central stylized form with intentional branching linework, geometric tally markers, and decorative impact-pecking marks.
• Hand-Selected Matrix: The flat, pocket-sized river stone was intentionally chosen for its smooth surface, serving as a perfect prehistoric canvas.
Condition & Provenance:
Personally excavated by Penny da hardway on our historic private homestead property. This specimen is offered in 100% authentic, \"as found\" un-restored condition with its original deep ground patina fully intact. It has been lightly dry-brushed to clear loose surface debris but left completely unpolished to preserve its ancient historical integrity.
An absolute \"Holy Grail\" centerpiece addition for advanced antiquities collectors, primitive art displays, or regional archaeological exhibits.
Ships out fast, fully insured, and packaged with maximum padding to protect the ancient engravings. Thank you for supporting the Historical Grounds homestead!
