Up for sale is a museum-worthyantique hand-embroidered linen dresser scarf, complete with its original1919 Hamilton County Fair (Carthage, Ohio)entry and award tags. Exhibited over a century ago in August 1919, this piece won "Second Premium" in Class 30 ("Scarf in silk colored"). It features vibrant silk thread work, raised French knot / padded satin stitch floral clusters, delicate leaf scrollwork, and an intricate scalloped cutwork border.
