Please refer to my pictures for condition and measurements. This is an estate find.
Upon doing some research, I believe the outer cover is some type of celluloid material, but I could be wrong. There are marks, scuffs, and signs of wear throughout, but overall, for its age, I believe it is in great condition. This is my opinion, so please use my pictures to make your own judgment regarding condition.
All pages appear to be intact. I did not see any writing inside, although there may be an occasional mark or page imperfection that I missed. There is a cross adhered inside the book. Please note that one side of the cross has a small missing piece at the end. I have included pictures showing this area, so please refer to the photos for details.
This has a metal clasp, but it does not lock.
The bookmark is frayed toward the end and is being sold as is.
Please note there is a clean, vertical age-related split in the celluloid on the front and back cover near the left spine hinge, which is very typical for celluloid prayer books of this era (see photos). The binding remains secure.
