Antique 1930s Western Electric 202 D1 Rotary Phone E1 Handset 634A Ringer Box: $219.99
Here\'s a real piece of telephone history: an original 1930s Western Electric Bell System 202 desk phone. It has the oval \"D1\" base and the \"BELL SYSTEM\" E1 handset, and it comes with its matching 634A steel ringer box (subscriber set). The original \"GArden 6-7271\" exchange number card is still in the dial. That\'s something you rarely see, and it dates the phone to the old named-exchange days. The original cloth and rubber cords are still attached. It\'s in good shape overall. The rotary dial turns freely, the hook lever moves freely, and the ringer box still has its bell coil and network inside. I haven\'t connected it to a phone line or tried to make a call, so it\'s sold untested. It\'s dusty just as it was found. I didn\'t clean it so you can see the real patina and decide how to restore it yourself. You get exactly what\'s in the photos. It would be a striking Art Deco display piece for an office, a den or a collection. Ships free from Gladwin, Michigan, double-boxed and padded.
