CONDITION REPORT: The cast iron stands and shoe molds have been meticulously refurbished. They underwent a deep multi-hour vinegar soak to dissolve decades of surface rust, were fully chemically neutralized using a baking soda bath to halt the acid reaction, flash-dried, and finished with a clear matte sealant to preserve the gorgeous raw gunmetal gray finish and safeguard against future rusting. The wood caddy features a beautiful deep amber natural patina with standard historic surface scuffs that give it superb primitive folk-art character. The interior wood is incredibly clean and dry.SHIPPING NOTE: This heavy collection contains solid cast iron and will be packed securely.
