This item would have been used by soldiers in the field during the war, offering them a way to carry and consume their water or other liquids. No visible makers mark. Missing the little D ring for lid but does not change the functionality of it. Small dents, scuffs, and wear. With its historical significance and unique design, this canteen serves as a nostalgic reminder of the sacrifices and struggles of soldiers during this turbulent time in history.
