Antique Edison Horn Crane Bracket Base for Cylinder Phonograph, 1904 Patent date For Sale

Clamping base for an Edison style cylinder phonograph horn crane.
All steel construction as confirmed by testing with a magnet.
Adjustable clamping width using metal slide and eye bolt on the end. Central rail with stamped patented date reading "PAT'D FEB 2, 04". Opposite end with socket for upright rod with eye bolt.
Upright end looks like it may have been nickel plated. Now tarnished. Scratches to metal paint on central rail. Remnants of black felt on the bottom side. f
Very solid structurally. This will restore nicely.
