Antique hand-colored glass magic lantern slide published by the Missionary Education Movement of the United States and Canada, New York (star logo; \"Negative No.\" printed on the mat).
The image shows three uniformed mounted policemen on dark horses posed outdoors, with onlookers in the background. The black-and-white photograph is hand-tinted — blue sky, dark blue uniforms — typical of early-1900s slides made for illustrated lectures.
Standard American format, approximately 3-1/4 x 4 inches, with the original black paper mat and binding tape.
The Missionary Education Movement distributed lantern-slide lectures to churches across the U.S. and Canada; their slides are now collectible ephemera crossing police memorabilia, early photography, and missionary history.
Condition: vintage used condition — please study the photos carefully.
