Antique Iroquois NATIVE AMERICAN BEADED PIN CUSHION Whimsy Eagle US Flags Framed A fabulous piece of Native American history. Araised-beadwork, likely a pin cushion or \"whimsy\" from around 1900,created for the Victorian tourist and souvenir market. Featuring intricate seed-bead motifs of American flags, a bird, and a star on a pink velvet background. A beaded scalloped edging all around. ***This piece comes in a handcrafted shadow box with a glass front. This piece is quite distressed. I guess it was being preserved in the handcrafted box to save it. There are missing beads the edges are tattered. Areas on pink velvet like fabric is worn through. The back side has a large rip/tear with the cotton & newspaper shreds showing. Please see all photos for approximate measurements and greater details.
