We're selling an assortment of vintage Ojibwe (var Ojibwa) birch bark baskets, many with porcupine quills for a collector who is cleaning house. We have 4 smaller baskets listed right now, with many more to come in the next week or so. These baskets were obtained by my client's family between 80 and 100 years ago, in Canada, where the family had a cottage. They are all in very nice condition. Please see the photos for the detail and condition.This listing is for a mid-sized square shaped lidded (The lid is sewn on, ie not removable) basket with a deer image made of porcupine quills on the lid along with other decoration. The basket measures about 5.5 inches by 5.5 inches with a depth of a little over 2 inches. The The side of the basket is also decorated white porcupine quills. Great art work and great condition.
