This is a truly magnificent, exhibition-quality pair of Antique Egyptian Revival Bronze-Patinated Figural Urns, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. Rendered in the grand French Empire taste, these striking garnitures exhibit exceptional casting detail, commanding scale, and a deep, rich dark patination. They serve as exceptional statement pieces perfect for a mantle, library, or fine art collection.
Design & Artistry:
• Figural Bust Handles: Each urn is flanked by two finely sculpted Pharaoh heads donning the traditional Nemes headdress, gracefully integrating into the upper rim.
• Ornamentation: Detailed, heavy molded rope and tassel swags drape elegantly across the shoulders of the vessels.
• Structure: The tapered bodies transition into fluted pedestal collars, anchored firmly onto robust, classical square plinth bases.
Condition:
Excellent antique condition consistent with age and light use. Beautifully preserved dark patination throughout. No structural cracks or major repairs noted. (Note to Seller: Insert any micro-details here, such as \"minor rubbing to the base corners or light dust in crevices\"). Please review the high-resolution photographs carefully as they form an integral part of the condition description.
