Original antique Robert Portner Brewing Company TIVOLI beer bottle from Alexandria, Virginia, in aqua glass with the brewery's deeply embossed diamond trademark.
Professionally packed for fragile shipment. Ships next business day. Full refund if damaged in transit.
The shoulder is embossed ROBERT PORTNER BREWING CO. / TRADE TIVOLI MARK / ALEXANDRIA, VA. The Robert Portner name, the TIVOLI trademark and the Alexandria location together make this a genuinely distinctive piece of pre-Prohibition Virginia breweriana, well beyond a generic antique beer bottle.
The glass shows an attractive aqua-blue color with visible bubbles and the manufacturing irregularities characteristic of early bottle production. The embossed lettering remains highly readable and shows especially well backlit or in natural light.
Condition is consistent with an authentic bottle of this age: scattered surface scratches, case wear, some haze and residue, and other signs of historic use. No major crack or significant lip loss is apparent. Please review all 20 photographs; they are part of the condition description.
