Antique WEDGWOOD Platter/Plate LOUISE Pattern 1800\'s Cream/Brown: $47.55
This is a rare and beautiful antique transferware platter from Wedgwood & Co. The platter/serving plate is made of cream-colored earthenware with a brown transfer pattern of flowers, birds, and a ship. The plate is in excellent condition for its age, with some water stains. The brand and pattern marks on the back of the plate is in excellent shape.
The Louise pattern was first introduced by Wedgwood & Co. in the late 1800s. It is a very rare pattern and is not often seen for sale. This is a wonderful opportunity to own a piece of Wedgwood history.
