Condition Notes:
This late 19th-century antique set is in beautiful structural condition with a bright, high-gloss glaze and absolutely no chips, post-factory cracks, or repairs.

• Handle Detail: Please note there is an authentic, stable factory firing crack located at the inner base joint where the handle connects to the pitcher body (clearly shown in the close-up photo). This is a common manufacturing characteristic of heavy 19th-century ironstone handles from the kiln process; the handle itself is completely tight, rock-solid, structurally sound, and unaffected.
• Gold Detailing: The gold gilt detailing on the raised bows and swags shows some authentic, moderate age-related rubbing and thinning along the highest points of the relief and basin edges, as clearly shown in the close-up photos. This wear gives the set an incredible, authentic shabby chic character that underscores its genuine turn-of-the-century heritage.
