Antique Wendt & Seymour No. 6 heavy-duty tailor’s shears, marked “Wendt & Seymour, Patent 1863, New York.”

Beautiful early American-made scissors featuring solid forged steel construction, oversized handles, and a brass pivot.

Good antique condition with age-related wear, surface rust, oxidation, and patina. Blades appear intact with no obvious chips or breaks. Cutting performance has not been tested.

An excellent addition to an antique tool, sewing, or early American industrial collection.
