Offered by Julieta Pipes is a distinctive Armellini handmade Italian tobacco pipe, presented in unsmoked condition and featuring a substantial bent Freehand form, attractive natural grain and a contrasting rusticated shank extension.
This is a large and particularly handsome example of Armellini\'s Italian pipe-making tradition. The smooth bowl displays attractive flowing grain across its flanks, while the broad polished rim reveals beautiful birdseye surrounding the generous chamber.
One of the pipe\'s most distinctive features is the deeply textured rusticated shank extension, providing a dramatic contrast between the warm polished briar and sweeping black stem.
The stem carries Armellini\'s characteristic white dot emblem.

Armellini is a respected Italian pipe-making house founded by Mauro Armellini. The workshop became known for handmade pipes combining Italian styling, quality briar and distinctive interpretations of traditional and Freehand forms. Condition
This pipe is presented in unsmoked condition. The chamber shows no evidence of tobacco having been burned in the bowl.
The smooth briar displays attractive natural grain, including flowing grain along the bowl and particularly appealing birdseye surrounding the chamber at the rim.
The stem, rusticated shank extension, mortise, tenon, chamber, rim and nomenclature are shown in detailed photographs so the buyer can carefully evaluate the pipe.
