Authentic, 1960s mid-century modern System Cado drop-front cabinet designed by Poul Cadovius featuring the handwoven basketweave teak veneer drop-down door. The interior has a divided storage section, removable tray, and an integrated black wire mail/document rack. The rear frame features factory-integrated hidden metal suspension brackets inside 45-degree angled wooden corner blocks, allowing for a floating flush mount against Cado wall rails. The original Danish production control label tag remains intact on the unit.
• Mounting Hardware Note: Includes the standalone cabinet module only. The original hidden metal suspension brackets are securely intact.
• Includes ONE 100% Factory-Original Interior Tray: While earlier 1960s iterations feature sharp, finger-jointed corners, this version showcases the more organic, late-era curved corner design. This Danish construction technique was introduced by Cado to match the curved lines of the adjacent black wire mail organizer.
• Lock Mechanism: Metal key included and functional. However, the decorative metal keyhole casing is missing, showing a bit of raw wood contouring around the lock cylinder entry point.
• Wire Rack: While the black wire mail organizer is present, there is wear/widening to the wood where the wire frame anchors into the bottom holes, and some light interior surface scratches from historical use as seen in photos.
