Blue-Grey Celestite Geode — Madagascar - Deep Cavity Crystal Specimen with Stand: $176.75
Every geode is a secret. This one kept a particularly good one. From the outside, the host rock gives nothing away — pale grey, rounded, unremarkable. But open that cavity and you're looking into a miniature storm: long, bladed celestite crystals in cool grey-blue with subtle green undertones jutting at sharp angles into the darkness, catching light on their cleavage faces like shards of a winter sky.Where many celestite geodes grow their crystals in orderly, uniform rows, this one chose chaos — blades crossing, angling, reaching — giving the interior a dynamic, almost electric quality. The deep shadow of the cavity makes each crystal pop with contrast, the pale matrix shell framing the drama like a stage. The color is unusual too: not the soft baby blue of typical celestite, but a cooler, more complex grey-blue with green undertones — the kind of tone that shifts in different light and keeps you looking.Weight: 2,633 g (5.80 lbs)Dimensions: 14 × 13 × 8 inOrigin: MadagascarStand: Included
