{ Many Offsprings Gains The Orange Markings From Its Mother }🕷️ Meet Your New Best Friend: The Bold Jumping Spider (Phidippus audax)
Looking for an incredibly smart, interactive, and charming little pet? The Bold Jumping Spider is famous for its curiosity, expressive eyes, and big personality. They are widely considered one of the best introductory species for new invertebrate keepers!
✨ 100% Captive Bred: All of our jumping spiders are lovingly bred and raised in-house from stable, healthy captive lineages. Buying captive-bred ensures you receive a spider that is already acclimated to a captive environment, parasite-free, healthier, and much hardier than wild-caught individuals.
This listing is for one (1) captive-bred Bold Jumping Spider sling at the I2 to I3 instar stage.
✨ What to Expect from Your Sling:
Size: These are tiny, precious early-stage juveniles (slings) that have molted 2 to 3 times. They are currently the perfect size for a small, well-ventilated vial or micro-enclosure.
Changing Colors: At this stage, their markings are typically a beautiful high-contrast white and black, but their coloration and patterns will change dramatically as they continue to molt and grow! Watch them transform with every shed.
Sex Undetermined: Because they are so young, it is impossible to accurately determine if they are male or female yet. It’s a fun surprise to discover as they mature!
Diet: Currently thriving on a diet of flightless fruit flies (Drosophila melanogaster).
🏡 Quick Care Guide for Slings:
Enclosure: A small, vertically oriented enclosure with tiny ventilation holes (ensure the holes are smaller than the spider so they cannot escape).
Hydration: Do not use a water bowl, as small slings can easily drown. Instead, lightly mist one side of the enclosure wall with a fine mister every 1–2 days so they can drink the droplets.
Temperature & Light: Thrives at comfortable room temperatures (70-78°F) with access to ambient, natural daylight (never place the enclosure in direct sunlight, as it can overheat).
