Boris O\'klein Signed Hand Colored Etching \"- A La Queue\" 1930-1950.:
$175.00

This piece is a wonderful vintage, hand-colored etching by famed French humorist and cartoonist Boris O\'Klein (1893–1985). This piece is titled \"A La Queue!\" (Get in line!) and is part of his legendary, highly collectible \"Dirty Dogs of Paris\" series.
The artwork features O\'Klein\'s signature anthropomorphic, mischievous dogs humorously waiting in line to use a Parisian street tree marked with a \"WC\" sign.
The etching features beautiful, vibrant hand-coloring. The paper shows normal signs of vintage age, but there is no sun damage at all, and it has never been out of the original frame. The frame is sturdy with a charming vintage patina.
