Brilliant STIBNITE with BERTHIERITE--San Martin mine, Zacatecas, Mexico--Choice For Sale

I\'m pleased to offer this aesthetic specimen of Stibnite with Berthierite from the San Martin mine, San Martin, Zacatecas, Mexico. The specimen measures 1.82 x 1.51 x 1.18 inches or 4.63 x 3.83 x 3.01cm and is in fabulous condition!
The San Martin mine is noted among specialists in Mexican minerals for wonderful stibnite crystal clusters. To my knowledge, they haven\'t come out in any numbers in at least a few decades. I found three remarkably bright examples in an old rock shop and was happy to snag them. I\'ve already sold one.
This piece shows very lustrous (on the display face) stibnite crystals with somewhat brassy/golden and very tiny and hair-like berthierite crystals--a classic association for the San Martin mine. The backside of this specimen is dull and seems to be coated with a thin deposition of an unknown mineral. This is a bright and reflective specimen and one rarely finds San Martin stibnite specimens on the market.
