Vintage Woolworth “Import Fair – A World of Gifts” large-format double-sided store advertising poster, dating approximately circa 1969–1971. Measures approximately 34\" x 22\".
This striking original retail display features bold psychedelic-style lettering, vivid late-1960s/early-1970s colors, and stylized international imagery promoting Woolworth’s imported gift merchandise. The design incorporates a dramatic blue and green “IMPORT FAIR” title, colorful European/Mediterranean-inspired imagery, and the classic Woolworth – A World of Gifts logo along the bottom.
An especially desirable feature is that this is a double-sided advertising poster, intended for display where it could be viewed from either direction, such as in a store window, aisle, or suspended retail display. Double-sided examples are particularly interesting as surviving pieces of original in-store merchandising material.
The poster is an excellent example of the period when traditional department and variety-store advertising incorporated the bright colors, flowing typography, and pop-art influences associated with the late 1960s and early 1970s. Large-format Woolworth store displays like this were temporary promotional materials and are much less commonly encountered today than magazine or newspaper advertisements.

Condition: Overall good vintage condition with age-appropriate signs of handling and storage. There are visible creases, wrinkles, fold/pressure lines, and some edge and corner wear.
