CONFEDERATE VETERAN - Complete set 40 Volumes and 3 Indexes - Like Brand New The Confederate Veteran Magazine, published from 1893-1932, is treasure trove of Civil War history as written by Southerners who fought in the war or witness it first-hand. Former Confederates were invited to submit articles - histories of regiments, battles, personal war experiences, poems and more. It was published in a magazine format with events, advertisements (which are delightful to read), and biographies and memorials to fallen comrades. The three volumes indexes are indispensable to historians, genealogist and students of the American Civil War. Broadfoot publishing was responsible for making many out-of-print books available to today\'s students and historians. The company did an outstanding job of reprinting Confederate Veteran. The books are very heavy (thanks to the excellent binding) and will require several boxes to ship. I live in Central California (Fresno) will be happy to deliver to them in 60-90-mile range. Or the buyer can pick them up and I reduce the cost of shipping from the price (about $130).
