Sweet Pea from the Sucker Punch movie by Zach Snyder in 1/4 scale from Gentle Giant. She is 18 inches tall when on her base.
A polystone statue released in 2012,and the best of the Gentle Giant Sucker Punch statues.
The Amber and Rocket statues were easy passes,the Blondie statue was an almost grab,but this was the only one I got.
As usual,I had no room to display her,so she ended up in storage.
I opened her when I got her and a second time to get pictures for this listing. She has never been out for display.
She is perfect except for two things.
The first damaged part was the helmet her foot rests on.The helmet straps were glued on with one point of contact on each side of the helmet and were shaken loose in shipment to me. They stuck out straight into the air in the box with nothing wrapped around them for protection. I have to wonder if many of these have this issue.
They have never been re-attached and I leave that up to you. If glued back on,they will most likely come loose again in transit.
Gentle Giant should have made the straps out of real leather,instead of polystone.
This statue also MUST be screwed into the base with the two supplied screws in order to display her,or she will fall forward right off the base. Which brings me to the second issue of damage.
When taking pictures,Sweet Pea attacked me and her gun broke (she was not screwed into the base). It was a clean break and the gun was super glued back on. There is a crack near the sights and I couldn't glue that,as it didn't break off completely. She is pretty fragile,though,in many places,and you must handle her with care. I would hold her by those thighs of hers when screwing her into the base,that is her sturdiest part.
The original shipper box was tightly wrapped around the colored box,too tightly,in my opinion. Shock waves will run right through the box because of this,so I have added another box to ship it in,with foam material in the bottom and on the sides to give it more protection. This is still a very cool and quite rare statue and I am not really inspired to sell her at all.I am not a professional reseller or a business,just a regular collector.
I have a storage unit I am trying to empty.
It is full of items that I have never had room to display or items I haven't had out in years,
and there is little point in keeping them if they never see the light of day.
Someone should enjoy them,which is why they are going up for sale.
I usually open styrofoam enclosed statues and figures to check them,for both our sakes.
Some items will be used,but I take care of my stuff,and any damage will be mentioned.
I do have offers turned on (not on all items,though),but usually don't set the price too low.
I sell all items as is and do not take returns.
What you see in the pictures,is what you get.
I use calculated shipping from zone to zone.
I pay the extra insurance,but I may change shippers from the one listed,to help defray that cost.
All items come from a non smoking home with no pets.
I assume no one is smoking or keeping pets in my storage unit,as well.
