The magician brings out a solid screen containing a square-shaped hole, as well as a square block, which is dropped through the hole. The screen is placed into a case where the ends of the screen remain visible at all times.
A magic pass is made and the screen is removed. But now the square hole has been replaced by a circular hole through which the square block absolutely will not pass.
The procedure is reversed and the hole once agin becomes square shaped. The screen always remains at least partially in view. Yet it changes its solid shape !
Can it really be only an illusion ? Is it just a smoke screen ?
