Stellar USMC coat named to LCDR James S Vogt who was a dental officer in the 4th Medical Battalion, 4th Marine Division. He participated in the capture of Roi Namur, Saipan, Tinian, and Iwo Jima where he was highly commended by his peers and recommended for the Legion of Merit in the Marianas for taking command of an entire field hospital of wounded when the front line collapsed. This was downgraded to the Bronze Star with "V". Vogt's coat is an enlisted marine's dress greens, which is interestingly not the first time I have seen a USN officer wearing them instead of the officer tailored coats.
