Case XX Stockman Folding Pocket Knife 6347HP - Three Blade - 1948-1964 Vintage
Up for sale is a vintage Case 3- blade pocket knife. I believe this dates from 1948-1964 based on the CASE XX U.S.A. (no dots) below which are inscribed on the primary blade. It also has the number 6347HP on the other side of the blade (well worn and hard to photograph). The 6 represents the reddish/brown jigged bone handle, the 3 is number of blades, and the 47 is the cigar shaped pattern for the knife. The HP stands for high power or heavy duty. The blades are a single clip blade, sheepfoot or spey blade , and a smaller pen blade. The longest blade is approx. 3 inches and the overall length of knife is just under 4 inches. This knife has been well used and is well worn (the jigged roughness of the handle is almost worn smooth and the Case emblem worn down, but the knife is still very functional and in good operating condition. Blades do have some discoloration and overall could probably use some soft cleaning but a decent older pocket knife. Knife weighs 2.5 ounces.
