1890’s Harry Wolverton uniformed football cabinet card. Published by Hazzard of Kenyon Ohio. Carer .278 MLB hitting third baseman. Harry played MLB 1898 through 1905 and a final season in 1912. His final season was as player/manager of the American League New York Highlanders. The Highlanders changed their name in 1913 to the Yankees. Harry was a standout at football and baseball at Kenyon College. There haven’t been many if any since Harry. The photographer Hazzard was only located at the college during the time Harry was a student. Harry was born in Mount Vernon Ohio. He died in Oakland California. Card is about 5 by 7 inch.
