Marvel Team-Up #95, published by Marvel Comics in July 1980. This sought-after Bronze Age key features Spider-Man and the first appearance of Bobbi Morse in her costumed identity as Mockingbird. This is the newsstand edition with a barcode on the front cover.Written by Steven Grant, with interior artwork by Jimmy Janes and Bruce Patterson. The green background remains bright, the yellow and orange title lettering displays well, and the central Spider-Man and Mockingbird artwork is attractive. The book lies reasonably flat without a major spine roll. Both staples appear secure, the cover and interior pages remain attached, and the book appears complete. The interior pages are supple and approximately cream to off-white.The main grade-limiting defects are multiple color-breaking creases on the right side of the front cover. A long diagonal crease begins near the upper-right corner and travels downward through the green background. Another color-breaking fold runs through the lower-right corner and across portions of the black, purple and blue artwork. There are also several smaller color-breaking creases along the right edge, including one extending approximately an inch inward from the edge. These defects are visible in the close-up photographs and are the principal reason for the VG/FN 5.0 estimate.Additional wear includes smaller corner creases, corner blunting, light edge wear, several spine ticks with some color breaking, and scattered surface and handling marks. The lower-left front corner shows mild wear near the barcode, while the upper-left corner and top edge have additional light wear.The back cover is intact and reasonably presentable but shows age-related discoloration, scattered soiling and spotting, light surface wear, and wear around the edges and corners. The formerly white margins exhibit general age toning. No large tears, missing pieces, writing or cutouts were observed in the supplied photographs.Overall, this is a solid, complete-looking midgrade example of an important Bronze Age Marvel key. It presents attractively despite the clearly visible color-breaking folds and general age and handling wear.Please inspect all photographs carefully, as they are part of the condition description. I am not a professional grader, and comic grading is subjective. The VG/FN 5.0 grade is my good-faith estimate based on the book’s visible condition.The comic will be placed in a bag and board, secured inside a Gemini comic mailer, and reinforced with additional cardboard for protection during shipment.
