NEEDS REPAIR vintage mini 9\" inch martini olive lamp small 9.5\" David Krys ? For Sale

This listing is in no way describing or claiming that this item functions normally in its current state.DESCRIPTION: This listing is for a vintage Martini lamp. The manufacturer sticker is missing but I believe this is a David Krys lamp. These lamps came in two sizes and this is the small one which measures 9.5” tall. The small-sized ones were designed to be operated 2 ways, either with batteries or with a removable power cord. They originally came with a cord however the cord is NOT included in this listing. Generic replacement cords can be purchased separately online.
CONDITION:• The metal frame has no rust or pitting. It needs to be cleaned and polished but I will leave that up to the buyer.• The green plastic surface of the olive is in excellent condition and free from any defects.
• The rim of the glass has a slight swale/dip on one side, close-up photo provided.• There is a faint hairline crack in the red plastic “pimento” lens. Close-up photo of crack provided.• The primary defect with this item is internal – The white plastic bed that holds the batteries in place is damagedtherefore does not function properly. One end of the bed has completely broken off and the other end has cracks in it. I have included photos and a video showing the damage to the battery bed.• The light bulb is still good.To illustrate that the bulb is still good I have included a photo and video of the light illuminated which I accomplished by wedging the broken-off piece of the battery bed into place temporarily. Please watch the video I included.
• The lamp lights up and operates as it should when you plug it in with a cord. As mentioned before, the cord is NOT included.• The \"toothpick\" may or may not be original. It fits snugly like an original and is removable but looks shorter like it might be shorter than other ones I\'ve seen online
