- -Theseare original, contemporary 35mm colour slide transparencies produced onreversal film -- not modern reproductions. Reversal film was the professionalstandard for editorial and commercial photography for decades, valued for itshigher contrast, fine grain, sharpness and vibrant colour compared with typicalnegative film, and it remained widely used until digital replaced it from themid-1990s onward.
Becauseslides like these were working materials (handled, filed, and often discardedonce used), surviving examples are increasingly scarce. For collectors ofvintage music-related artefacts, an original transparency is a particularlydesirable format, it's a genuine period photographic object and often theclosest thing to a source image from the era.
Condition: Very Good + light signs of wear
Size: 5cm x 5cm
Everything we sell is genuine original material unless clearly stated otherwise, sourced from reliable origins and from our own 45-year collection.

- Condition Explained
Condition Explained We Describe Every Fault As Honestly As Possible
We offer a huge variety of items and grading can be very subjective, we describe the condition as accurately as possible and take photos which form part of the description. A plus or a minus after the grading indicates that the condition is marginally higher or lower than the stated grade.
Mint: Item is in the same condition as the day it was made.
Near Mint: Item is in "never-used" condition and has been carefully preserved since it was produced. The item should appear to be in superb, nearly perfect condition.
Very Good: A well cared-for item that shows minor condition issues around the borders, such as pinholes, small creases, soft corners, or light discoloration.
Good: Item shows visible wear from handling, such as creases and small tears. It is physically worn, but is still considered collectible.
Acceptable: Item is fairly worn, showing significant aesthetic issues. Contains notable flaws and is possibly missing pieces.
Occasionally we may find that an item is in less than the advertised condition, if that occurs you will be contacted prior to the shipping of your order.
