Navajo revival first-phase chiefs blanket for sale! Recently purchased for 15,000. In mint condition; was shipped to me folded. Has since been stored in a cedar chest. Very fine yarn but not dense, so it has a very lovely drape, true blanket quality. Weft count is 28 to 30, warp count is 7 to 8 (a bit of variation). 100% Navajo churro wool. Dyed with natural indigo blue and cochineal red. Measures 64 by 70 inches. Woven by Jamie Marianito in 2024 as commissioned by Nizhoni Ranch Gallery. Great to wear, for display, or as bed cover.
