Three piece vintage set miniature Chinese ceremonial bowls …..fine porcelain …. 10kt. Gold trim. Each bowl is permanently affixed in an artisan crafted hand woven lacquered rattan basket holder. Exquisite custom fitted HEART SHAPE lidded display box… Olive grey woven silk brocade with a royal red woven silk brocade lining. Unique, exquisite and rare… Acquisition from the estate of a dedicated oriental arts collector in the western New York area. CIRCA 1950s . In superb condition… Remarkable for the great age. The interior of each bowl is different… Appears to be applied tiny decals in a formal famille rose palette. An original Chinese characters paper label is fixed to the outer box lid. The surface of the underside is complementing designed rice paper.
Approximate dimensions of each ball is one and 1/8 inch high, one and 3/4 inch diameter, and 6 inches circumference. The approximate dimensions of the lidded custom fitted heart box are four and three-quarter inches wide, one and 1/2 inch high, and 4 1/2 inches deep.
