The ORIGINAL FROG MECHANISM for a Stanley No. 603, 603 C Bedrock smooth plane or No. 605 1/4 Bedrock Jr. Jack plane, later style. This mechanism is held in place by pins that are secured by pointed screws. This example is in excellent condition and could quickly restore a plane with a damaged frog to full utility.
