Up for sale is an authentic, original 1947 theater-issued window card for the Columbia Pictures classic film noir, Johnny O'Clock.
This is not a modern reprint or a commercial reproduction. It features the official National Screen Service (NSS) property disclaimer in the bottom right corner, proving it was licensed exclusively for theater display during the film’s original 1947 release.
The poster features striking mid-century typography highlighting director Robert Rossen (in his directorial debut) and key cast members Lee J. Cobb, Ellen Drew, and Nina Foch, alongside beautiful noir-style graphics.
Condition & Framing Details:
• Framing: The window card comes housed in a beautiful, vintage ornate gold-painted wood/plaster frame. It looks fantastic and is ready to hang immediately as a standout piece of classic Hollywood decor.
• Modifications: To fit this specific decorative frame, the original 14" x 22" cardstock was professionally trimmed in the past (now roughly 11" x 14" / 12" x 14" visual area).
• Vintage Patina: As expected for 80-year-old theater memorabilia, the card shows authentic signs of age, including natural yellowing/foxing and light water staining/tide marks along the lower border. Please review the close-up photos carefully to assess the condition.
