Here\'s a very well restored Comoy\'s \"The Everyman\" #409 bully. This pipe came together very well and I am pleased with it! I wish the stamping was a little more crisp, but I guess you can\'t have everything 😔. I completely removed the old finish and carefully sanded it thru the grits. There\'s a tiny nick on the rim that took 3 tries to remove, and even then I couldn\'t get it all. But it\'s acceptable, to me anyway! I dyed it, sanded it, dyed it again and then sanded it again and finally got some good results. I then applied a hard wax finish of carnuba on it. That is using a spiral sewn, hard cotton wheel with just a quick touch of carnuba to the wheel, and using lots of pressure against the wheel. It creates a durable shell of wax and I use this method on most of my pipes. The stem was soaked in Lbepen solution, then sanded thru the grits and waxed with carnuba. All in all, I\'m happy with it and I hope you will be as well! I\'m donating 10% of this pipe sale to the American National Red Cross ❌️!!!!!!!!
