A Unique Piece of Chicago Art History
This is an original 1930s vintage commercial photographic print (7" x 10") documenting a work titled "Procession" (also known as "The Family") by the world-renowned Artist Edward H. Dunlap.
Historical Provenance:
The reverse of this print features rare handwritten and stamped documentation linking it to the 10th Annual Hoosier Salon (1934) held at the prestigious Marshall Field & Company Picture Galleries in Chicago.
Handwritten Notes: Identifies the piece as Catalogue #46 "Procession" and attributes it to Edward H. Dunlap.
Official Studio Stamp: "P. Schneider #9962 Commercial Photographer, 2222 S. State Street, VIctory 2428, Chicago." The "VIctory" exchange confirms the 1930s-1940s Chicago origin.
Condition:
Vintage condition as shown in photos. The print remains crisp with strong contrast, typical of professional 1930s archival photography.
