Here is a rare specimen of chromium bearing clinochlore var. kämmererite from Kop Krom mine, Kop Daglari, Aşkale, Turkey. The kammererite formed sharp, well proportioned crystals on the front face with a rich purple-magenta color. The crystals have a light dusting of a second generation of kämmererite that formed over some of the crystals. A neat specimen from the top producing locale for this species! This mine has been inactive for decades, and specimens are much harder to come by these days!Dimensions: 3.8 by 2.2 by 1.5 cm
