Vintage 5-piece hand-painted Russian Nesting Doll (Matryoshka) set featuring the complete early-2000s George W. Bush Administration Cabinet. It is highly uncommon to find a complete Cabinet administration set like this; most political sets only feature a historical timeline of past presidents. Each piece in this rare collection features matching, handwritten pencil numbers ("15") on the unpainted wood bottom, verifying that they are a matched set crafted together by hand in an independent artisan workshop.
The set features detailed portraits of:
• George W. Bush (Largest outer doll)
• Dick Cheney (Vice President)
• Colin Powell (Secretary of State)
• Donald Rumsfeld (Secretary of Defense)
• Condoleezza Rice (National Security Advisor / Secretary of State - smallest nested doll)
Condition & Authenticity:
• Condition: Excellent, wonderful vintage pre-owned condition. The painted lacquer finish is entirely smooth, glossy, and bright. There are no cracks, structural issues, or fading to the wood. All 5 pieces open, close, and nest together perfectly.
• Authenticity & Craftsmanship: The matching handwritten pencil numbers ("15") on the bottoms serve as a traditional marking from an independent artisan workshop rather than a mass-produced assembly factory. The wood-turner scribes a matching number onto every piece carved from the same exact block of wood. Because the wood naturally expands and contracts together, this batch mark serves as a premium authenticity guarantee proving that all 5 shells are entirely original to one another and fit seamlessly.
Ships quickly and securely packaged to preserve its condition. Ideal for political memorabilia collectors, historical buffs, or unique novelty art enthusiasts!
