RARE Vintage Handmade Folk Art/ TRAMP ART Mechanical Cigarette Dispenser For Sale

Wonderful and unusual vintage wooden cigarette dispenser featuring a whimsical hand-carved and painted figure that mechanically lifts a cigarette from the box when operated.

This appears to be a handmade folk-art piece, with characteristics associated with the tramp-art tradition. The box is constructed from individually fitted pieces of wood with visible hand-cut components, small nails, a stepped wooden base and a hand-carved novelty figure.

The aged wood surface has a wonderful primitive/patina quality with evidence of age, handling and use.
