Introduced 1984, Discontinued 1989
This teal color was manufactured for
a very short window between 1984-1989
While the vibrant teal color was introduced in 1984
specifically to celebrate Wedgwood 225th anniversary,
the company continued to use the molds to manufacture
these solid teal rectangular trinket boxes for a few more years
until the collection was officially discontinued around 1989.
The small "KL" initials stamped on the bottom
help explain why the box might not say 1984.
