Offered here is a beautiful and collectible vintage Parker Vacumatic Junior fountain pen, dating to approximately 1936–1937, featuring the desirable Golden Web laminated celluloid pattern.
The barrel and cap display an attractive dark finish with fine golden horizontal striations throughout, giving the pen the distinctive Golden Web appearance. It features the classic Parker styling of the period, including two narrow cap bands, gold-tone trim, black section and Vacumatic filling system.
The pen measures approximately 4 7/8 inches capped and retains its vintage Parker barrel imprint.
Condition: This is an approximately 90-year-old vintage fountain pen and shows normal age-related wear, including surface scratches, marks and some wear to the trim. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the description.
The Vacumatic filling mechanism is functional and appears to be working properly. The pen fills and the mechanism operates as intended.
The gold Parker nib writes, but feels somewhat scratchy and may benefit from adjustment, smoothing or professional tuning depending on the buyer\'s writing preference. I have not attempted to modify or polish the nib.
The pen is being sold in its present vintage condition. No aggressive polishing or restoration has been performed, helping preserve the original character, barrel imprint and finish.
A very attractive example of an early Parker Vacumatic Junior Golden Web, and a great addition to a vintage Parker or fountain pen collection.
Please review all photos closely for the exact cosmetic condition and details.
