Vintage Helen Hutula “Tat-L-Tale” ceramic cookie jar, believed to date to the 1940s.A fantastic and unusual piece of early California pottery featuring a whimsical woman in a pastel blue, white and pink dress with floral detailing.The underside is hand marked “© Helen’s Tat-L-Tale,” “Helen Hutula,” and “Original.”These distinctive cookie jars were originally designed with a novelty “talker” mechanism associated with the lid that would make a sound when the jar was opened.Approximate measurements:
