This is a pretty rare Chris Reeve Umnumzaan. It was made during the short phase when CRK was transitioning the Umnumzaan to the model with the over-travel disc/lock bar stabilizer. For a brief period of time, the disc was sterile--no \"CRK\" stamp. I don\'t know how many of these were made but it wasn\'t many.
The knife also comes with a second CRK drop point blade, which was fitted to this specific knife by CRK. I do not have documentation that the blade was fitted by CRK, but I know it was. Both blades lock up tight, no wiggle or stick, etc.
Both blades have been used and the knife overall shows typical wear. The finish is smoother is some places, there are \"snail trails,\" the clip has the usual marks from pocket wear, and the blades have some light scratches. Neither blade has ever been sharpened and the knife has never gone back to CRK for the \"spa\" treatment. The o-rings have been replaced with red ones, which probably need to be replaced again just due to age. Knife was purchased in 2012 and most of time since then has sat in a drawer, but I did use it off and on for the first few years after getting it and it to break down cardboard and for food prep and feather sticks while camping a few times. Original box, blue cloth, tools, and paperwork included.
I thought about sending this to CRK for sharpening and re-blasting, but I\'m not a collector and was informed by someone who is that this is a rare bird, and so I\'d rather sell this package to fund other things. Will ship USPS Priority. If you have any questions, ask.
