Rare Matching 1942 WWII US Truck Conservation Corps Poster & Pledge Sign Set For Sale

For sale is an exceptionally rare, 100% authentic two-piece home-front recruitment kit issued by the Office of Defense Transportation (ODT) in 1942. This matching set was originally distributed to transit hubs and fleet mechanic terminals to encourage civilian drivers and mechanics to conserve rubber and vehicle parts during the wartime rationing effort.

Unlike the common small hand-held variants, these are the scarce, oversized terminal display versions. Both pieces are unissued, blank, and have been preserved beautifully together.

• Authenticity Verified: Inspected under high magnification. Features classic 1942 raw, porous, non-glossy wartime utility paper stock with solid ink lithography absorption (no modern digital CMYK dot patterns).

• Physical Wear: Displays original, historically accurate factory fold lines from its original distribution. The paper shows natural, light ink-flaking along some of the decades-old creases, which is typical and desirable proof of age for vintage paper artifacts. Colors remain incredibly vibrant, and the paper backing shows natural, age-appropriate light amber oxidation with zero modern artificial bleaching. No major tears, water damage, or tape residue.

This is a museum-quality, investment-grade duo perfect for any World War II, military propaganda, or automotive transit collector.
