Rare Mt. Pinatubo Ash Glazed Tea/Espresso Cup Set, Handcrafted, Never Used
Authentic, no chips, never removed from storage box or used.
A handcrafted two-piece cup set glazed with reclaimed ash from Mt. Pinatubo, blending volcanic texture with refined ceramic form. Each piece is wheel-thrown, fired in a reduction kiln, and finished with subtle natural variations that make every set uniquely tactile and collectible.
Materials: High-fired stoneware with Mt. Pinatubo volcanic ash glaze
Includes: 2 tea cups (can be used asespresso cups)
Handcrafted: Wheel-thrown and trimmed by hand; slight variations expected
Glaze: Natural volcanic ash creates speckled, matte-to-satin surface with mineral highlights
Firing: Reduction kiln firing for depth and complexity in glaze tones
Safe for use: Food-safe glaze (handwashing recommended)
Origin: Ethically sourced ash; studio-made in small batches
Care: Avoid rapid temperature shocks; do not use on direct stovetop or open flame
Packaging: Comes in cushioned, handmadebox (sugar cane and other natural materials)
Collectors’ note: Limited-run -- each set numbered and accompanied by a short provenance card about Mt. Pinatubo ash and the glazing process.
